Unrelenting and direct, Bristol’s Hypothetics have a sound that pushes the four to the extremes; as engaging with driven outbursts of noise as they are with thoughtful progressive ideas, we see a band that are happy not settling. ‘Fear of standing still has brought us a long way. It wouldn’t be worth all the energy we put in if we don’t try to push each other; we try to write songs that bring out our individual strengths, in a way that the listener will immediately understand.
