Operating as a label, rave and community, Rezonant Body represents the lesser-celebrated fringes of raw, experimental dance music, with a distinct focus on inclusivity and spiritual connection through sound.

Established by Bristol-based musician and DJ, Daddy Hyphen, the project calls for a balanced and diverse pool of collaborators and participants, across ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and social background, sighting a positive emotional and spiritual impact to be made on both individual and collective levels.

May 6th 2023 sees the label’s launch event at Dareshack, bringing together 4 selectors (Faery, Monoke, MISH & Daddy Hyphen) to dive into some under-represented strains of electronic music (inc. Trip Hop, Sludge-core, Warped Jungle, Psy-Dub and much more), complemented by a d&b Audiotechnik Soundscape System and live audio-reactive visuals by Bristol-based artist aevi.

Additionally, May 11th 2023 sees the label’s first release (Daddy Hyphen’s ‘i am rezonant’ EP). To be available digitally and on super ltd. edition translucent blue 12” wax, RZB001 takes a contemporary approach to rudimental Trip-Hop, Hardcore & Jungle-Techno styles, refracting a simultaneously haunting, bracing & solacing sound through a modernist lens.
