Unrelenting and direct, Bristol’s Hypothetics have a sound that pushes the four to the extremes; as engaging with driven outbursts of noise as they are with thoughtful progressive ideas, we see a band that are happy not settling.

‘Fear of standing still has brought us a long way. It wouldn’t be worth all the energy we put in if we don’t try to push each other; we try to write songs that bring out our individual strengths, in a way that the listener will immediately understand.’

Playing live though is ultimately what the band love most and becoming a powerful live unit was of high priority. Hypothetics lockdown graft has rewarded them already with festival slots at FORWARDS, Boardmasters, 2000 Trees, The Great Escape and Dot to Dot.
