Audiotarky is a music streaming platform that enables artists & labels to get paid directly and fairly as people listen to their music. Fans listening to music on Audiotarky use Coil to pay artists directly. By signing up to Coil, you can stream payments directly to the artists on Audiotarky as you listen to them.

Coil is a web monetisation subscription service which allows users to pay a single $5 monthly fee which is then distributed in the form of micropayments to creators for every second of their content you read, watch or listen to.
By subscribing to Coil, not only will you be supporting the artists on Audiotarky when you listen to their music, but you can also support a whole host of other content creators you love across the web, all within their monthly subscription cost. Across the Coil network, you’ll also benefit from an ad-free experience, gain access to exclusive content and be able to relax in the knowledge that Coil will never track, sell or share your data.

We use an emerging technology called Web Monetisation to stream payments from your listeners to you. Web Monetisation allows consumers to pay a single subscription which is then streamed to the creators they enjoy, as they read, listen or watch content on web monetised sites like ours. Currently there is one such subscription service, called Coil.
Coil pays via a digital currency called XRP. They track the dollar:XRP exchange rate so that you are paid $0.36/hour for each Coil subscriber listening to your music and we believe this to be the highest “pay per stream” rate out there. Artists or their label get paid from the first second of their track being played, Audiotarky then takes the last 10 seconds of payment stream per track.
Once you have a digital wallet set up and we’ve linked your payment pointer (ILP) to your profile, you can let your fans know that they can listen to your music and support you directly via Coil. You are paid as soon as someone with Coil enabled starts to listen to your music.
Note: you don’t need to create a Coil account to use Audiotarky, but having one means you can pay for music you listen to on Audiotarky.
If you share your music with our embeddable player on other sites, the player will set the payment pointer so you get paid when people listen to your music with Coil enabled, wherever they are.
It’s important that your payment pointer is set correctly - if it’s not, you won’t get paid when people stream your music.
Your payment pointer can be used in lots of places, so that Coil enabled visitors send you micropayments wherever they find you. You can add it to your own webpage by adding a meta tag to the sites head:

There is a growing list of other sites which are Coil enabled. For instance, you can get streaming payments for your videos on Cinnamon, and if you’ve been streaming performances on Twitch you might like to encourage your viewers to watch with Coil enabled.
