Introducing Thick Boy Records a music label dedicated to the thickest sounds in Drum & Bass, UKG and House.

We created our label as we were trying to get our thick foot through the door and got stuck. So it was time for Thick boys and girls to unite. And make an even bigger door. We are dedicated to the Thick Sound of Jazz and Funk infused Drum and Bass, House and UKG is our bread and butter. However we also just love bread and butter.

In an age where the big corporations try to sell you the perfect body, we are here to sell you the Thickest body. We stand for body positivity with our Thick Nights created for everyone in mind. We ask people to leave their ego’s at home and come and witness the thickness. Being thick is to channel your inner Bruce Bogtrotter and yam that cake and give that booty a shake.

But at the end of the day when the fat lady sings, we will be there to release her thick sound.

Thick Boy Records was created in April 2021 has grown at a great pace, with each release going for strength to strength. However looking back at where we came from with our first compilation ‘2Steppin Up’ where we raised over £2000 for the charity Music4Children.

‘2Steppin’ Up’ opened our eyes to how we could do something positive with our music, brand and big thick energy. And since then, we have kept pushing with a sense of excitement for each release, event and festival.

Ultimately it’s about music, supporting artists, creating a community, being body positive and owning it. Whilst still having a sense of humour. Because it’s boring to take everything so seriously.
